AIIA's IoT Cluster for Mining and Energy Resources aims to "develop an independent and self-sustaining partnership of organisations that can integrate their capabilities for commercial purposes. This cluster network will be comprised of ICT firms, research organisations, upstream and downstream supply chain operators in the Mining and Energy Resources sectors, with the intent of developing, productising and marketing specialist IoT solutions in national and international markets. The context is driving commercial outcomes through the cluster by making sense of all the data accessible to the operating environments of Mining and Oil & Gas companies and their associated supply chains."
