Welcome to Engineers Australia's Applied IoT Engineering Community
The Internet of Things (IOT) has been described as the defining technical trend of the coming decade, impacting virtually every industry and business process. To help engineers demystify the topic and build IoT skills, Engineers Australia (EA) has launched an online community of practice on the application of Internet of Things (IOT) technologies in every industry.
Membership of this online community is free and open to the public. To participate in discussions and be notified of upcoming activities you just need to register on the website, opting to receive the newsletter, and then optimise your settings.
The focus of the community is to build a body of knowledge, primarily through our wiki which links all the resources together. The community operates primarily through fortnightly webinars which are transcribed and entered into the wiki. You can view the archive of webinar recordings.
Participation in webinars and viewing the recordings is free for members of Engineers Australia and there is a small charge for non-members. EA members can join a bulk registration list so they don't have to sign up for each individual webinar. Members of the public can purchase a bulk webinar subscription saving about 50% and this includes access to recordings if you miss live events.
The community also operates a LinkedIn discussion group which is open to anyone.
